Tell that to Steve Smith. Even though he’s retired I’m sure it would be interesting.Real men don't taunt.
This. I could care less if they are allowed to taunt or not. I'm tired of judgment calls that allow refs/The League to control games and this one has the ability to turn ridiculous real fast. The taunting rule is just another rule that has a lot of gray area that allows the refs to control the game. There is a fine line between taunting and trash talking and I don't trust these refs to make that judgment. Its a violent, emotional game and now it can cost a team a game because a ref decides something a player says in an emotional moment is taunting in his opinion.
I rest my caseTell that to Steve Smith.
What's he gonna do? Sucker punch me?Even though he’s retired I’m sure it would be interesting.
Real men don't do stuff to get taunted about.Real men don't taunt.
I think the taunting rule had to have been thought up by someone who never played the game. It’s especially hard on CB’s safeties and WR’s. Those matchups are more of a personal battle that feels good to win and they bring out the smack talk. I wish more than anything for the league to just let them play.Yeah cause it’s hard to play without taunting?
I'll edit this for you.....That rule is going to cost THE SAINTS a win this season. That rule is going to cost someone a win this season.
