The New Orleans Saints missed a chance to clinch a playoff spot Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Seattle Seahawks, but they insisted all week that they didn't care what happened in that game.
The reigning Super Bowl champions aren't interested in "backing their way in" to the postseason. They'd rather kick down the front door and make their presence felt, starting with a convincing victory tonight at Atlanta.
"We want to take care of business. We want to control our own destiny," Saints quarterback Drew Brees said earlier in the week. "I haven't even thought about (the possibility of clinching Sunday) because I want to win this game.
