I have no gripe with 1 - 4, but 5 - 7 are, collectively, a joke. And Philly at 8 is a bit high, but not enough to quibble about.

I don't think it's crazy for us to be #9. The majority of the teams ahead of us got further than us last year & with all the offseason drama that has happened (Brees contract, Payton/Vitt/Loomis suspended, etc) we definitely have an uphill climb.

That said, I don't think many people outside Louisiana realize that our LB corp is MUCH better than last years and that we have more talent on both sides of the ball than all but 2-3 teams.

*shrugs* we all know this team is elite and can beat anyone in the league. power rankings mean jack **** if anything i just hope it motivates the team more to prove they are the best.

For me the only teams you could consider putting above us are the Packers and 49ers and I don't think those two could beat us in our house.

I do not think it's unfair. We are a top ten team without the best offensive mind in the league. That has to account for something. I think it is more of a testament to how well we are regarded with the arsenal of weapons. They think we are better than 2/3s of the league.
