Nice way to send a message, commish! Even though this is small change for him, it's a big fine by NFL standards. You just don't give your own fans the bird (or opposing fans for that matter) for any reason.

I like the commish's stance, but the NFLPA will probably appeal this. It's supposed to be 5K for first offenses, 7.5K after that. Maybe Goodell can argue it's 5K per finger.
