NFL Huddle and Flow Ft Jameis Winston (1 Viewer)

Why you you ain't a starter?

Winston: Interception. Turnovers. Teams got to believe they can trust you. When you turn the football over and not winning games. They get you out of there

What is a hddle? :funny1:

Winston: I watched my turnover for the past 5 years over and over over. That year(2019) stood out to me. It may have been the new offense. Maybe I was trying to go out there prove it and playing for a lot(on a contract year) . I've been focusing on eliminating that. What I came up is that...

In the course of being an NFL QB. You can do this or do that. When it comes to managing a game... I didn't want to be deemed a game manger. (What I learned is) That a game manager isn't a bad piece to my game. It just comes with being a professional QB. Learn To do things you can do and what you should not do.

He definitely is towing the company lines and I think he has matured, been humbled (which usually would be his meltdown point) but he is still hungry and excited about the opportunities. Can he stay out of his own way mentally? Can he UNDO his issues that are almost built into his football DNA? He will have every opportunity to completely turn his career around.

It is tough to see almost your entire team, but without you, have that much in season and post-season success. The best possible chance he has to get things sorted is here and he made the best choice, IMHO. He didn't chase the money...but at the same time, the suitors just weren't there, either.

I have given my personal assessment many times on who I think Winston is as a QB and what he has to do to take the "next step", but that isn't the discussion here. It is reassuring to see him still that motivated.

I want a true competition...and it will be. We won't know until the dust settles and that really won't be until the close of the first quarter of the season, IMHO.
