NFL NETWORK MARSHAL FAULK WARREN SAPP List 2 2012 playoff team that will not make playoffs i'n 2013 ?? (2 Viewers)

Saw that, last night they also listed their top ten QB's and Sapp had Drew at number one and Marshall had Payton Manning at number one I had to do a double take. I understand certain players have bias opinions but wow that was a shocker. I really think they need to get some new blood in. Once Eisen left that network has dropped off but it's the least of three evils.
eisen isn't gone. usually takes a break this time of year, like berman does on espn.

When did Eisen leave?

1. ATLANTA FALCONS !! LOL
2. HOUSTON TEXANS !!
What do y'all think ??

Completely disagree on the Texans. They won a playoff game with rookie FA QB and the team also didn't miss a beat when Mario went down. If Shaub stays healthy, they challenge for the AFC crown. Good team. Good story. Good fans.

Texans is an odd choice. Sure it could happen but it if wasnt for gaffes on special teams they very well could have beaten Baltimore in the playoffs last year with their 3rd string QB. They do have a hard schedule but so does every other team in their divisions so unless the analysts think that Tennessee is better off with Pittsburgh and San Diego than Houston is with Baltimore and Denver and that swings the division I just dont see it.

The Texans got worse this off season by a lot while a ton of AFC teams got better. Also, til Matt Schaub proves he can finish a season, I will not put them with the elite teams yet.

Faulk isn't basing them off last season, he's basing it off them getting rid of two starters on the Oline which are down grades and trading away 3 defensive players that were pretty good. They did nothing to improve the team. Also, they did miss a beat with the injuries, especially in the QB department. That offense was pathetic when Schaub went down.

which team is going to have the worst record do you think??? Dolphins,Chiefs,Browns???

None of the above. The Bucs win this one. Their front office signed Jordan Jefferson as a free agent then cut him the same week. There qb peaked his second year. I give them 2 wins.

Eisen doesn't do Total Access anymore. Similar to Berman not doing SportsCenter anymore sometime in the 90s.

Eisen still does TNF, Sunday Morning & GameDay Final (or part of it)

Plus podcasts and any other special coverage (draft, combine etc..)

How does the Texans not make the playoffs? WHo's gonna beat them in the AFC South? Cmon Sapp.

I REALLY don't think the Falcons will make it though...

Yeah in a division with the Colts, Titans, and Jaguars there is just no way I don't see them making it.

+ they have an outstanding defense, a great running game, and a very good passing attack(barring Schaubs return). I just do not see Schuab as a QB who can beat an elite in crunch time. Same category as Romo. Good stats but will not get it done against the elite teams/QB's/Primetime. They could get to AFC championship game this year. But will crumble vs Brady and Manning IMO.

It helps if you watch the video segment. Go to NFL.com and it's one of the newer ones.

I have to watch it on my phone, since it's blocked at work.

Sapp says the Falcon's won't make it because they have an identity crisis and 29th in 3rd down, but 8th in red zone, and he doesn't think those stats go together. Redzone is 3rd down. He also criticized Mike Smith talking about a new direction for the playoffs, and Sapp said they need a new direction starting at training camp.

Faulk basically said the Texans got rid of half of their offensive line, a good number of defensive players, and their top ST guy, oh, and their best blocking TE. So, he thinks they're going to take a big step backwards. He also went on about Schaub has only played a full season once or twice in 5 years, so he thinks this season is make or break for Schaub, since it's a contract year for him too.

Obviously Houston is still the team to beat, but Faulk isn't really clear on how that team got better this offseason.
