NFL Playbook - What's Theisman's Problem??? (3 Viewers)

When Theisman picked the Colts against the Saints...he got banned from the show, albeit in a funny way. He might have taken that as a challenge to his manhood, (LOL) and is still POd at the Saints for making a fool of himself.
 
He said the Saints leave the middle of the field open because of GW's aggressive blitzing. This will give the Giants opportunities on offense. He's not exactly wrong, I just don't think that's enough to win the ballgame. I also think it's like others have said, they just needed someone to be the voice of dissent.

With the caliber of defense we trot out each week, a team like the giants can easily abuse us, esp since we lack a true playmaker like sharper or vilma is his prime.

Dont know whats up with Theisman, but Tony Dungy and Deion Sanders has the same problem!

so he has a problem with us because he didnt pick us to win? i have more of a problem with our own beat writer jeff duncan picking against the saints every week.
 
You beat me to it posting this, except I was going to name the Thread " Why I know we will win for sure!". Not only did Theisman pick Colts, he also picked the Falcons to beat us and seems like everytime he is picking against us, we end up winning!
 
I was listening to this guy on sports talk radio, and he was talking about when he got his first chance to break down some NFL games with a former SuperBowl winning QB on a major network... He never said the old QB's name, but made it sound like it was Phil Simms... Anyways, He says how excited he was to talk about who he liked in each game and why... and right before the show starts, the retired QB asks the producer of the show "Who do you want me to like this week?"

The radio guy went on to say how disappointed he was to learn this "truth" about the media... and how none of these guys have a genuine opinion... They're all just a bunch of puppets doing what they're told...

Theisman is a complete moron, so I imagine he relies entirely on the show to write his opinions.
 
Why do you guys seem to take is to personally when an "analyst" picks against us? Not like he's spitting on the team, or your mother's. He's just picking who he thinks may win. The Giants aren't a bad team, they've lost two games in a row, and will be out for blood. They can win this game. I don't think they will, but they sure can do it, which is why a good number of people are nervous about this game.

OK, when he picked the Colts... well.. umm.. yeah... no idea what his thinking was there, other than maybe we'd let up.

It's not just that he is picking against us, it's that he always seems to be picking against us and for the 3rd time in recent weeks, all the other analysts are picking us and he is only guy picking otherwise. I don't take it any way offensive who he picks, I'm just amused at how often he is only one.

Yeah,its very obvious Deion Sanders doesn't think too highly of the Saints.

Remember the postgame show after the Saints superbowl win? Talking to Sean Payton was a very awkward moment for him after downplaying the Saints all year.
 
It's scripted like the WWE. You need guys on both sides for good tv. Especially true when the game is coming on your network.
