I get that “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”. But no charges were ever filed in either case. Just saying…
Sounds about right. He’s a phenomJames Pearce Jr., Tennessee just ran a 4.47...
Someone in front of us, please take this "beast" that has never had more than 2 sacks in a season.Shemar Stewart going top 15 now after those numbers
When I looked at him and Mike Green I could tell Mike seemed to run out of gas after a while and I saw quite a few QBs run away from him if he didn’t get them at the top of his rush. I saw James catch QBs and track them down.James Pearce Jr., Tennessee just ran a 4.47...
Exactly…Stewart’s all potential, no production. I see the athletic traits, but that means nothing if your not a football player first.Someone in front of us, please take this "beast" that has never had more than 2 sacks in a season.
His nickname should be "Pressure Monster." PFF will love how close he almost gets to the QB without sacking him. He's Chase Young. But I'm sure some scout will convince a GM that his Vertical Jump measurement will surely translate into an All-Pro NFL player.Exactly…Stewart’s all potential, no production. Not surprised he ran 4.47. What did Green run. 4.6?
He looked really good in the other drills today.Sounds about right. He’s a phenom

I mean he had pretty good sack numbers and I think was top 5 in pressures last year and this yearPearce is another one of those pass rush prototypes everyone falls in love with because of his measurable attributes, but why didn’t he dominate more against amateur competition?
Those guys like that need to check all the boxes for me to use a high pick on them, and dominating collegiate level play is a major one.
I don’t want to draft a phenom athlete; I want football players.
How many guys like him have succeeded, or rather, lived up to their first round status at the next level? It’s rare.
