NFL Standings For The Last Quarter Century (41 Viewers)

I do have to push back just a bit.
From 02 to Brady, the Bucs went through about four or five failed rebuilds resulting in a playoff drought from 08 to 19.
And the Giants two rings were really luck.
Look closely at Coughlin’s time in NY. For most of his career there, the Giants were average at best.
And they’ve been in the basement since 2012.
there's more luck to any of this than most of us are comfortable admitting

Recognizing and acknowledging that things outside of teams control has a lot of influence on who wins a Super Bowl makes it a lot less upsetting when the Saints don't win a Super Bowl. Since they've only one won and lost 58, it's been a real stress saver for me.

For kicks I looked at the last 20 years...so starting in 2005:

Absolutely. We caught a huge break when Dwight Freeney injured his ankle in the 09 AFCCG,
I've always said that 2 of the most underrated traits of a Superbowl winning team... are injuries and luck.

Oh good, we win the NFC South for the Quarter-Century playoffs. And it looks like we'll face Dallas in the Wild Card round. I'm good with that match up. :hihi:
