Breaking! NFL Will Allow Teams 3rd Helmet Option (1 Viewer)

The NFL has amended their rules about teams having only two helmets and have now expanded teams’ options to 3 although second helmet rules will apply to the third (see quote below).

This now opens the Saints to having a white version of their helmet unless the 3rd option becomes a throwback look where only the main decal and/or facemask would be changed.

The organization fumbled the black helmet design opportunity with that fugly Seahawks knockoff "fauxhawk" stripe and were then forced to pair them with the best uniform set we have because they didn't read the fine print of them only being allowed with throwback/Color Rush/alternate uniform sets.

Wouldn't mind a white helmet for the Color Rush set but knowing this organization they'll botch that helmet too. Regardless the gold helmet is perfect as-is for all our uniforms other than maybe a darker shade for the throwbacks.
