I think there's a decent chance he's had some surgery, but just as good of a chance it's just age and weight loss.

What I don't understand is that there are plenty of quite muscular 45 year olds, who are also plenty flexible. I'm not saying it's a good idea for a QB to be buff, but it seems like he'd want to have a little more bulk to better take the hits. But what do I know, he's the one still playing at 45...
