Saints better find a way to keep Lalos or he'll end up starting for the Patriots...

He is a PS type player IMO. He did not do much in the XFL last year. He may develop into something, but a couple of his sacks were as a result of Stick just holding on and trying to make something happen as it was desperation time.

Agreed. Always nice to see players making positive contributions but Lalos was a standout in the fourth quarter of a preseason game, in which both teams had held out many of their starters and were deep into the depth chart at that point.

I say this all the time when someone says “yeah…but it was against 3rd and 4th stringers !” in regards to a player showing out in a preseason game.

So, essentially, in the opportunities afforded a player, that player rose above the competition he went up against.

Think of all the guys who didn’t do anything Sunday - against that same competition.

Great 4th quarter. The one thing I did note is they tended to be coverage sacks from the QB holding the ball too long. But look, I get it, a sack is a sack.
