No Paulson or Smith at practice today {Wednesday}UPDATED with injury report (1 Viewer)

It's actually wild that there's a a real chance at our #2 corner, who played like the best player in camp, misses this game.. and yet there are more talk about our WR6 missing practice. He's a back-up, depth, bottom of the depth chart player who our staff trusts. It bothers y'all that much that he's on this roster? Sheesh.

For the sake of actual productive discussion in terms of Falcons week prep, if we potentially lose Adebo for this game, I do wonder what the staff has in mind for boundary and slot. Do they want to keep Roby inside given that'll be his presumed role throughout the season and give Taylor the nod outside? Or do they trust Roby more on the boundary and want to see how Taylor does inside? I'd guess this likely is predicated on whether Taylor got more team snaps at slot or boundary in team drills when he was healthy in camp.

Good questions and clearly a situation that could arise this week. I would guess that Allen would keep Roby outside and utilize a combination of guys from safety to fill in nickel and dime packages. I don’t think Taylor is ready snd he missed time in camp. Honestly, though, hope Adebo goes if fully healthy as that gives Allen all kinds of choices inside.

Well done sir, I was going to post something similar….I submit both my sons (and 2 friends) visit to NOLA in Nov 2019….fresh off an LSU victory over Alabama, my boys were super phsyced to be going to the Saints Falcons game the next day. The Falcons were terrible that year and then…..DOH…..the unthinkable happened….anyone who doesn’t think this can happen again is not paying much attention….

Actually his last game against the Falcons last year he was really good after the catch….he has shown flashes and I think it’s the constant injuries that have held him back….not lack of skill or ability….
As bad as that Falcon team was they had Matt Ryan and Julio who was still very good, Gage and Ridley.

This year's Falcons Team outside of Pitts and an Athletic Patterson have no proven weapons.

But it is still the NFL. It's week one anything can and will happen.

I hope so but I'm thinking the opposite. Its Atlanta (worst team in the league) and we don't need to be full strength to beat them. Alontae Taylor on Drake London and Lattimore on Pitts would be enough to win this game honestly. I'm not trying to waste Adebo on ATL with TB next week.

Wow, it almost like someone knows what “looking past a team” looks like and why most fans with any experience watching the Saints over the years don’t do it…..
For any young posters out there…

This 👆is what the old guys refer to as “looking ahead of an opponent.”

It’s especially dangerous vs division foes and arch rivals…

It’s not entirely wrong… but if you believe it and get burned, it hurts a lot worse if the Saints “Saints it” away.

Pretty rude thing to say. Such rudeness is usually not tolerated.
It's not tolerated, unless it either goes unreported, isn't seen by the mods, or is a deserved response, where in such instances we often allow the board to police itself, within reason.
