Saints None of the “experts” expect Saints to prevail in Dallas (1 Viewer)

I'm hoping we can turn this game into a good old fashioned 80s/90s type of slobber knocker. Run the ball, control the LOS and the clock. With these two defenses I'm not expecting a track meet. If Carr has to sling it all over the yard we're probably in trouble. The Cowboys have some dudes in the front 7. Hopefully our coaching staff is aware of this Parsons fella they have. Word on the street is that he can play.

While it will be a challenging game, it is always good to be misunderestimated. Saints keep it close and maybe we squeak by with the victory at the end.

I think Dallas is overrated as usual. They've added nothing to their team since last year. They downgraded at RB, C, and LT. All they added of significance was Erik Kendricks. I guess you could say getting Diggs back from injury is their biggest improvement.

We perform better when we stay under the radar.. As usual we will have to go 10-2 before anyone starts mentioning the Saints like Cowherd, Chad and Simon... and if we beat Dallas all you will hear is how bad Dallas played for one game and Saints will not get the credit for out playing them,,,,

I'm not sure why some of you concern yourselves with "expert" picks. They're just as meaningless as the opinions of the "experts" making them. And we all should know by now that the sports media is nauseatingly obsessed with the Cowboys. I live in Cowboys country, too, which makes it even more disgusting.

I saw a different Saints team on Sunday, and I wasn't even surprised. I was excited to see Kubiak's work, Carr's enthusiasm and accuracy and just the overall performance of this team.

I believe in what this organization is doing, and I just don't care what talking heads think about it. If memory serves, they didn't like us going into our Super Bowl season, either. F em.

I think a lot of this game will come down to how our new-look offense does against the Cowboy's front 7. I took a look at how the 49ers did against the Cowboys last year when Kubiak was coordinating their passing game. They faced off early in the season: 42-10. Obviously the Saints aren't the 49ers, but a lot of similarities can be drawn especially with Kubiak running the show on offense. This will be a familiar defense for him and I think he is smart enough to scheme well for it.

Think Ceedee Lamb gets his first TD, but outside of that, I don't see Dallas doing a lot of damage. Real test will be how our o-line holds up. All the play-action and pre-snap motion Kubiak has implemented goes a LONG way in helping an o-line win that first step off the ball. We're going to find out just how much of a difference that makes. I think it does enough to get us eating a W.

20-10 Saints

I’ve said it before and will again … under the radar is a good thing
We honestly do not know who we are yet.

We as fans know the offense needed new life and Kubiak has appeared to bring that, but its still just week one and we are not going to go in every game scoring on all 11 drives like we did vs the Panthers.

I want the Dallas fans to go searching for their VCR w/tearful eyes, after the Saints curbstomp them in Jerry's House!
