Due to contracts or injuries, most players aren't tradable outside of the players on rookie contracts that actually have value. Maybe Lattimore, Kamara who just signed an extension. Werner might be worth something but I think he would make a good MLB when Davis retires.

Not sure why anyone thinks Young will be traded... Dude was available in the offseason for nothing.

I don't see a single (realistically) tradable asset on offense - Maybe Ruiz... and on defense it's Lat, Pete, and maybe Turner on a late flyer.... that's it.

That's why the time to do all this was before last year.

I’m all for it. Unfortunately the majority of Saints players worth anything have untradeable contracts. The dead money costs alone would be punitive. The Saints are basically dead in the water until 2028 due to almost criminal mismanagement. We are now paying the bills for Loomis’ “kicking the can down the road” to “win now”.

He's on an uber-cheap contract and some teams have suffered injuries at DE. Pretty much the only reason I mentioned him. I don't think Pete is someone you can realistically afford to trade as there would be no one on the roster who could step in at MLB once Demario retires.

Yup, I agree.....Cam has zero trade value, Young has next to none....we just reupped AK (and I really don't want to see him go).....we really don't have much to offer......

Latimore is our biggest trade asset and he will likely get us a 4th, maybe a 3rd with playtime escalators if we ship him to a Contender like KC. A late 4th rounder means very little in the grand scheme of things vs a Cornerback who can shut down his side of the field.

Only thing I'm gonig to counter is it's probably been mismanaged since prior to that. Going as far back as the year we drafted Davenport. Had we not hit on the 2017 class we'd be up sh**s creek because the management and decisions after 2018 were all meh.

No one is giving up more than a conditional 6th round pick for Young... There's no point in trading him. He will be a free agent again this offseason. Pete is not replacing Davis at MLB... and I would like to keep him regardless... but he is tradable... unlike most of the roster.

The only real trade piece we have is Lat... and we'd be lucky to get a 3rd for him....

It's time the pipe dreams stop... and we get ready for the long haul of suck it's going to take to pull out of this hole they have dug... and rebuild this roster, staff, and culture back from the ground up.

There are a few pieces here you can build around for the next 3 years... we should focus on them.... and start cutting dead weight... no one is trading us for it.

Emphasis on cleaning up the cap as much as possible for the next regime. Compensation isn’t going to be great and we shouldn’t get hung up on those expectations. Identify whatever amounts to the young core players and key vets, and shop whoever else they can.
