knee is completely toast. His season is cooked.

I am sick to my stomach. I started off hating the falcons.

I learned quickly to loathe the Panthers.

I grew up in Orlando with a mom who is a die hard bucs fan. I gave them leniency until this new era. This is the modern face of dirty. I know that the horse collar wasn’t intended to tear up the mans knee. He was stopping a play.

But it cost them 15 yards and it cost jameis Winston a hell of a lot more than that. You know there won’t be any additional consequence for them because of who is at the helm.

I will be here screaming who dat until the bitter end no matter the outcome of any game. Period. But I hate seeing good players in the middle of a career resurgence taken out of a game over a defensive move the opposing defender KNOWS is illegal.

I’m off my soapbox now. Clown away if you want. Our defense is stout. We can still find ways to win. I’m not doom and gloom. I’m just really bummed about what I just saw.

I’m really sad for Jameis. I like the young man. I don’t believe he’s ultimately our long term answer but he’s worked really hard and it’s ashamed his chance looks like it will be cut short.

Look it up. Saints fans cry about refs being against them but that was a LEGAL tackle.
Not based on the rule expansion 5 years ago.

“The league approved a proposed rule change from the Competition Committee on Tuesday that will make it illegal when a “defender grabs the jersey at the name plate or above and pulls a runner toward the ground.”

Now obviously it wasn’t meant to injure Winston. It just happened.
