This is the right decision for Nuss and the one I though he needed to make going back to the start of the season. He showed most of the year that he was not ready for the NFL and needed another year and more starts before he could be ready. I thought he made some progress as of the OK game and I now have some hope that he will make the leap to be a good starting QB next year. He has the talent to be a very good QB. It will be interesting to see if he can get there.

This is what I thought he would and should do. It's the best decision for him and for the Tigers. The 2003, 2007 and 2019 Championship teams were led by experienced Seniors. It provides stability at the QB position and it will help his draft prospects tremendously.

That's cool. I'm curious what the odds were for Burrow and Daniels going into their last seasons.

I don't know about Daniels but, the odds for Burrow were pretty bad. If I remember right, he was projected to be drafted in the very late rounds when the season started. No one had much of an idea about how good he would be. Except for maybe Coach O.

Exactly and I don't think Daniels was on the Heisman radar either. Nuss is already in a better position and he has a full year of starting experience over Arch. If they stay healthy, it should be a good battle for it. It would be nice to see Nuss win it in 2025 and Arch in 2026.
