NYT/ATHLETIC : Surprise contenders coming this season (1 Viewer)

It’s either Atlanta or Tampa winning the division. The other one ( Atlanta or Tampa) probably gets a Wild Card. It is a step up regardless for Atlanta.

Saints just happy to be at 7-10 again. Would 8-9 be considered a success this season?
Again, you are not staying consistent with your post. You said they are serious contenders. CONTENDERS FOR WHAT? Playoffs? Well, that we already knew as they have been -120 to win this division for months. Serious contenders implies that they are contenders for the SB which that coaching staff and that roster are certainly not LEGIT OR SERIOUS super bowl contenders at this juncture. Can they turn into that? Maybe. Is it likely? No. Like I said, they are around the 8th best NFC team going into the season.

Bucs? They have around the same chance as the Saints to win the division as you can easily find by looking up the odds.

Every year they have the same 25% chance of winning the division as the rest of us do.

Their roster is not stacked, they don't have one player that people have to game plan for. Kirk Cousins is old and slow.
