That was a close miss for the touchdown. It’s a shame that the ref missed how the defender was wrapping up the receiver before the ball got there.
That’s what caused the ball to come out when out of bounds after the receiver had run from the field into and out of the end zone. These official are so incompetent.

I think the best hope for moving on from Carr is if the new HC tells him he won't be the starter and he agrees to a reduced salary so they can afford to cut him or in order to facilitate a trade to a team that would start him. But, we aren't going to know anything until we hire a new coach and I hope they wait until then before making a decision.
Who would you expect to start next year? Drafting a rookie might not happen and going after a veteran starter will cost a fortune.

the ball is moving while pinned to his shoulder.. it is not secure.
I disagree but what's done is done. That catch likely stays a catch with another team or ref crew. Who knows? This game is background noise while i do laundry

I think Sean Payton could’ve worked well with Rattler

If Rattler can play like this for the rest of the game, the priority in the HC search should be finding a guy that can develop Rattler or tha will bring in an OC that can develop Rattler.

I still hate pitchback plays.
Especially to the short side of the field. :hm:
