If that were an option, great. It’s really not though. Carr is going to cost us about the same whether he’s here or not.
Unless we get him to take a pay cut in which case he would still be here…unless it’s to accommodate a trade.

Right, I'd take the cap hit and lose the player rather than restructure. If he's not here in 2025 then he'll cost less the following year and we can finally try to get right. And we'll find out if Rattler can be the guy.
