Official Gameday thread: Rams @ Saints 12/1/24 (2 Viewers)

It’s irritating to lose, but this game we were simply beat by a better talented team. Rizzi has them playing well, but man when you have a castoff WR as your best WR, I dunno who at TE, Kamara at RB with no one else to spell him or change up and Carr, it’s hard to beat a good team. This loss I can handle
Leaving 15 points on the field by kicking FGs and not scoring points at all on another drive into the red zone is what lost this game.

You do realize the game was tied 14-14 in the 4th quarter? You have some pretty good takes, then brain dead ones like this. It's baffling.

Yea offense was horrible in the red zone and we missed a FG. Defense seemingly didn’t expect the rams adjustments. We still have an outside shot at the division but likely the season is over. Still gonna support tho.

The Saints are a undermanned team with no real hope of beating playoff quality teams. Really, I’m just happy that Rizzi has this bunch playing some tough football in these few remaining games. They are finally showing some pride.
Not as easily sold on Rizzi as the rest of y'all but he's done well with what he was given during the season taking over. Everyone and Everything needs to be evaluated during the offseason with changes top to bottom.

100% correct

I’m thinking that Loomis will stick with Rizzi because he has a season to burn. 2025 will give the team a chance to get a better salary cap situation for when our next coach comes in with his new crew.

Who are you calling brain dead? Think. Those 15 points were lost in the first half.
I called your take brain dead.

And its a terrible take because the game was tied in the 4th. Field goals count as points. No team scores TDs every possession. The expectations of some people are absolutely out of whack.

Not gonna argue with you. I stand by what I said. They left 15 points on the field. The team would tell you that.

If you can do better or find better staffing do it. I wouldn't stick with him if someone else is available.

MVS was upen for a 1st down. Carr did not see him.

You saw that too
Yea I saw it. Carr is just who he is, he's good but not great and most of that last part is the decision making but it's hard to judge him to a 1st ballot guy like Brees. We need to get over that, I've said it before but the Dolphins have been looking for the next Dan Marino since I was a legitimate child. I hope our Saints don't end up that way obviously but that top tier QB just doesn't happen often.
