That hit should have also been flagged, though it was much closer.

Why can’t Olave ever get those calls?

IKR? I'm thinking about that Giants game last year where the Saints got penalized for (checks notes) . . . hitting a receiver too hard.

I’m not gonna be surprised if Olave is out again with a concussion

If so he may need to sit out for awhile and think about life after football. That would be 5 in 5 years I think.

I think it was a catch and the play was over once he hit the ground. I also think Olave is concussed again. I ALSO think this franchise is cursed. Smh.

Anybody understand the fair catch thing there?

The returner is not allowed to ADVANCE a fielded ball after signaling for a fair catch. The initial flag felt that he was trying to run forward with the ball. Instead he moved sideways to avoid being hit by the coverage players.

You sound like it’s his fault. He can’t stop the shots to the head. The league has to do that and they’re not.
