Once Erik McCoy and the rest of the Dominos fell, the team was doomed. (1 Viewer)

Hey lady!
I agree with your sentiment and ask a question I asked the other day with no answer (that I saw):

Why is it that the defense is tired when on the field too much but we never say that about the opposing offense that’s on the field just as much? Not being sarcastic I truly am baffled by this. All I can think of is maybe defense is more demanding than offense?????
Absolutely, it takes way more physical effort to cover a WR than for a WR to run a route. The WR knows where he's going the DB does not. It takes more effort to make a tackle than to break one and by making a tackle you absorb way more punishment. Also pass rushing is way harder than pass blocking, why do you think DL are always rotating in and out and not OL?

The Patriots during their dynasty and the Chiefs now, they also have gone through slews of injuries. Maybe not as significant as ours but probably close. The difference is the ability of the front office and the Coaches to add quality depth and have guys ready to plug and play.

KC hasn’t missed a beat really this year. They lost both starting WR and RB. But they have such a good structure there that you almost don’t even realize how much injuries they have because their next men up step probably starter level on a lot of other teams and are coached up to really be ready to play. Hell I would say the backups in KC some of them probably could start on this roster day 1.

What this speaks to is that we have depth like the shell of an egg, once cracked the yoke is going to escape. There is nothing behind our first string guys at all. Not at receiver, not on Defence and certainly not with our O line.

Mix that with a coach that shrinks to the moment instead of rising to it, and a front office that feels it’s above reproach and you have an embarrassing 5 game losing streak and the 4th straight season missing the playoffs
1st you do realize that both of those teams have/had maybe when it's all said and done the 2 best QB to play in the last 50 yrs. And they were /are good enough to over come a lot of injuries.
2nd Both of those QB's were/ are the face and the darlings of the NFL and they got/get an enormous amount of the calls and also have a lot of calls conveniently overlooked

What is that suppose to imply?

I was just stating a fact that he persevered through the worse amount of missed games by starters in NFL history and still managed to win nine games and still had a chance to make the playoffs at the end of the year.
It implies that maybe he just had enough with the roller coaster after 15 years of HOF QB play and said screw it.

DA never had the HOF QB but man he's definitely getting the roller coaster with these injuries. Yikes.

It should have been no secret. From Underhill, to Ross and other media members kept saying McCoy was one guy they could NOT lose to injury.
