you are correct .. i checked the first play for every saints game this year
and the saints never opened by receiving the ball .. interesting

I hate getting the ball first. I rather get the ball after half.

Look at how many teams score on their opening possession. I dont think its many and we haven't either with a high powered offense. Much better to get the ball after half when you are in a groove.

There was that one time in 1998 the officials screwed up a coin toss. 7 in a row? Come on now!

My wife was saying the same thing. She wants to see Brees & Moore have the 1st possession of the game. I told her to start saying she wants to see Shanle & Harper on the 1st possession and hopefully the trend of getting exactly opposite of what she wants would continue.

She says Karma is a *****. She would end up getting her wish, and she hates to watch Shanle on the field.

I love getting the ball back after halftime. Its win-win. If we're winning, we can pad our lead. If we're losing, we can get back in it. Plus, by then, all of the beginning of the game jitters are out of their system.
