why is it so expensive?

i dont really get this question. before i got involved, the poster was not even able to be found for anything lower than 500 and thats if you could even find it. now that there is a reproduction people seem sort of upset about the price. i mean, 2 were put on ebay. one sold for 155 and the other 210. the only people that seem to be upset about the price are people on this board. now, i dont know if its because people on this board are used to always being able to find things cheaper. but for something this rare, that will never be the case. i apologize, but your talking about a poster where only 1000 were made and 200 were sold 20 years before katrina even hit and took everything out. it has been confirmed that the 800 that didnt sell were destroyed in a storage shed on s. carrolloton. when you really think about it, it shouldnt be a question about why its expensive. its just the way it is. sorry.

I can not begin to say how much of a classy guy Scott is for doing this for everyone!! He borrowed my Swilling Strikes Poster and made copies, and then returned it promptly. He traded my "lending" of the poster for a Dome Patrol copy. Let me tell you......... THIS COPY IS HEAD OVER HEELS BETTER THAN THE 1st copy I received!!! UNREAL! THIS DUDE (SCOTT) IS A BEAST! An SR LEGEND!!!! His copies are 5 STAR!!!! So if you had the opportunity to get a copy from Scott, then you are in Luck my friend!!! Scott is very very good business relationship my friend!! Sank you SCOTT!!!

Is Scott the one who ran our copies last year?
