I'd like a copy as well. I just need to know the cost and where to send it. I'm keeping an eye on this thread.

I just sent the guy the dimensions (24x36) and said we wanted color. So now I am waiting for him to tell me when and how much. Once I get that I'll get with Optimus and try to see what day is good for him and the print guy and we'll go from there.
 
Just talked to the guy. He said he can do them for $50 each. So from there we have to add the price of shipping, paypal fees, poster box to ship, and the cost to get Optimus's done. So I imagine we are looking at no more than $65-$70 a piece to get em to your door. This is still a good deal because he said that he would normally charge $80 a piece for the copies but he is hooking us up cuz my mom gives him a lot of business.

This will need to be payment up front because I will have no way to get rid of any extras(remember these don't go to ebay). I am also gonna need a point man in NO to be in charge of shipping all these out to everyone. I am in Houston. I'm sure we can hook you up with a free or discounted poster.

So, if your in for sure. Send me a pm with your email addy and I'll email you the final details and total when we get a date ironed out.

I could do the shipping through Fedex pretty conveniently. I have an account through them for my business and its right down the street from my office. I could also probably buy the poster tubes from Mail Boxes etc right by my house.

Depending on where its going, it looks like Fedex ground may be about 9 bucks per person. Its actually 1 dollar more to ship it to my house in Kenner than it is to ship to my sister in law in Tampa. I have no idea why but I guess thats just how it works.

I’m not sure what the tubes would cost. When Mail Boxes etc opens I will call them this morning. However, I'm pretty confident that I could do it all for 15 bucks a person, maybe 16.50 to cover the paypal fee of sending me the money. Any left over money could be donated to the site.

If ya’ll would like me to handle it just let me know.

I had originally told my guy 25 copies so I figure we will cut this off when we get to there or next week which ever happens first.

If we do 25 copies then that would add 4 dollars to the price of everyone's to do Lord Saint's and Optimus's poster. So with shipping and everything, we are looking at about $70 total.

For you people lucky enough to live in the metro area, I'm sure you could make arrangements to go pick it up in person and save the shipping cost.

Yea that would be no problem. My office is in James Business park right past the airport and my house is on the Metairie/Kenner line.

I do believe the priority tubes for the posters are free, I usually get all my priority boxes for free thru USPS and I'll you have to do is pay for the priority mail fee.

Looks like Friday is gonna be the day so anyone wanting in needs to do so before then. I will email everyone that I have gotten pm's from and give you all the details and paypal addy's either Wed or Thurs.

By Friday I will need the money for the prints themselves which will be $50 plus $100 divided by the total number of orders plus $6 for tax and paypal fees. Right now we have like 10 orders so the total per poster right now would be 50+10+6=$66 plus what ever shipping ends up being. I hope to get about 25 orders so the total would be 50+4+6=$60 plus shipping. If I have any money left over from over estimating tax and paypal fees then I'll just donate it to the site, cool?

As far as shipping goes, I don't care who we use. Lord Saint has been cool enough to offer to help, if someone else wants to help out and use the usps tubes and save us all some money then even better. Until someone comes forward and volunteers for that, plan on Lord Saint handling it for us and total shipping costs being around $20. Please wait to send any money for shipping until we get a final total and who it needs to go to.
 
I am sure if you post this link on the main board you will get plenty of people that would purchase one. Not many people visit the Trading Post. I am definitely in. :9:
