Just got through watching the MNF game between SF and the Rams, and I was impressed by the tempo of the SF defense. Those guys are rabid and they play with a purpose and a mission.

Our defense looks slow and plodding compared to them, like we're stuck in mud.

Wait until you see the Saints defense vs Kyler Murray! Murray will be extending plays for 20+ seconds and the Saints defenders will look like they’re dodging bullets in “The Matrix”!!!

I’ve heard we are one of the oldest teams in the league. It happens. They still have done an admirable job so far this season imo, especially with our O and special teams setting them up for failure at every turn.

when you draft big run stuffing DEs vs elite pass rushing ends you look slow chasing plays.

We drafted a quick pass rushing LB early two years ago. But we decided to maximize Baun as a special teamer instead of developing him to rush the QB, at least as a situational rusher.
