Is just not the same, the confusion he brings to the opposing defense, is huge not to mention an extra running back, tight end, QB etc.

I think it's both not having Hill and then losing McCoy. I think the Saints win today if they had Hill or don't lose McCoy. Not having both played into the Eagle's defensive strength up the middle. It's the OL.
This was the key to todays loss.Is just not the same, the confusion he brings to the opposing defense, is huge not to mention an extra running back, tight end, QB etc.
I wondered this also seeing as Ruiz played all games at center for Michigan his sophomore and Junior yearsNot having Hill today definitely hurt the offense and losing McCoy was not good at all. Why didn't they move Ruiz to center?
Hill does a lot of important things that don't always show up in the stat sheet. He is a difference maker when he's on the field. Shaheed has gaudy stats but did absolutely nothing yesterday. The loss of McCoy was absolutely huge. Patrick is a better guard than center and Udoh was awful.Hill doesn't make this offense tick. We did fine without his 22ypg average rushing and 1ypg receiving
McCoy going out hurt us because Penning was getting punked outside and his backup was getting beat on the inside.
With better protection Carr hits Shaheed for that TD

in 2 games he has 2 catches for 2 yards and 10 carries for 53 yards. And to this day right now, I can't tell you when he left the Cowboys game. Did it look like we missed something there? We did fine you say. What part of the offense did fine? What game were you watching?
The Saints running game and passing game were both anemic almost the entire game. Out of rhythm and out of sync all day with the exception of the short TD drive.
Maybe the Saints missed HIll more than those stats suggest. How did the Saints fare in those two critical short yardage situations?
You know, the Kamara Wildcat run and the 4th down Kamara run, both coming up short and failing to gain the 1st down.
Hill has a league high 87.5% Success Rushing Rate in 2024. He has gotten a 1st down on 62.5% of his rushing attempts in 2024. Amazing!
Maybe, just maybe, Hill would have been able to gain the 1st down in those short yardage situations.
On a day when the Saints averaged 3.1 yards per rushing attempt maybe the Saints missed Hills 6.6-yard average per rushing attempt.
With Hill in the game when the Saints break the huddle the defense is unaware what the personnel grouping will be. Who will be the QB, FB, RB, TE, WR?
Yesterday the Eagles didn't have any concerns or problems figuring that out. They employed a defense with personnel that matched up to the Saints offensive personnel before the Saints ever huddled up. Not only did they not have to account for where Hill might be, they didn't have to be concerned for what he might do.
It's no coincidence the Saints offense was unpredictable and unstoppable in the 1st 2 games and looked just the opposite then next game without TH7 in the lineup.

That doesn't read like someone who makes our offense tick. He's a nice to have...not a must have otherwise we would've gotten a suitor when we dangled him out there with that 2nd round tender and other teams would've moved heaven and earth to find their Taysom Hill.
He's Kordell Stewart 2.0
