Definitely. If we can get picks for Jordan, Mattieu, DD....go for it. But we've drafted so poorly recently that I don't think trading the few good young players we have for draft picks would be smart. I would trade Chase Young since I've seen enough to know I don't want to give him an extension.

Young's contract looks built for a trade. All of his guarantees are paid by the week, rather than us giving him a signing bonus up front and having to cut our losses if we decided to trade him.

When you net it all out they sent out CB Donte Jackson (3 INTs, 6 passes defended so far), Diontae Johnson and a 6th round pick in exchange for a 5th round pick.

Plus CAR is paying most of his salary.
