First time season ticket holder. We are headed from Mobile on Sunday. We are willing to walk a few blocks. Can y'all recommend some parking lots with easy access to I-10 Eastbound after the game?

Coming from Da Parish, I used to come up Poydras towards I-10. When you get to Claiborne, turn right. There’s a parking lot immediately underneath I-10 on your left.

Owned by the city. Operations were haphazard at best. You don’t know if the lot will be open until you get to the gate.

It’s not cheap either, but it had the excellent feature of one left turn out the gate onto Claiborne and you’re eastbound and down.

When it got difficult for my mom to walk the distance to Gate G, I gave that scheme up and succumbed to the Dome garage.

if it’s not open after your turn off Poydras , take a left on Perdido. There’s other lots that will put you in the general direction.

I recommend the garage at First Bank & Trust on Poydras. Less likely to have your car broken into in a garage. Then take Baronne to the expressway westbound and quick connect to I-10 east. Energy Centre garage at the corner of Loyola and Poydras could work for you also.

Park in a garage for sure. Car thieves won't want to go to a second story or higher to break into a car, they will want to stay at street level for quick escapes.

Cheap or free = broken windows. Pretty much any garage is good. Preseason is very low key. Get there a little early. Coming from the east check out garages on O’keefe or Loyola near the interstate. Easy exit post game.

Thanks for the advice. I found a garage on O'Keefe that should work.

Good to know. Thanks!
