This OL is not overpowering people, they are outsmarting people. We are scheming pass rushers out of these games without asking Penning or Fuaga to constantly one-on-one top 5 players and win individual matchups. That's done with play design.
Have there been some one-on-ones? Sure, but they aren't seven-step drops where Penning has to hold up forever.
The days of "big man against big man" are over. It's all about scheme, including setting up false tendencies that cause guys like Parsons to question what to do in subsequent plays. This is good for us because you no longer need a physically dominant OL to dominate the scoreboard.
