AG was announced on Jan 28th 2021, less than 2 wks before DA was formalized. The HC decision was probably made before AG was hired by the Lions. ALSO, AG was just a DB's position coach it's RARE that a position coach makes the jump to HC without being a coordinator. We had the chance to hire AG as HC but did not want to
