I dont recall anyone from the Saints ever saying it was a suspension. I believe Sean Payton, during oregano, saud it the matter was being handled internally, but wouldn't comment further. Unless im missing something, the suspension angle could have been completely media driven.

It could be as simple as someone from the Saints saying "Micheal Thomas punched a teammate." In the same breath as saying "He will not play minday." And that gets jumbled together and erroneously connected together as "Michael Thomas punched a teammate and will not play monday." The latter insinuates a suspension. But MT also stated he was never going to play Monday, which jives with what most thought even before the fight. So, since he wasn't playing anyway, they just issued a fine and docked him a game check.

He’s definitely becoming my favorite player on defense for this reason alone. I don’t think we’ve had a player with his dawg mentality in the secondary since Vaccaro.

We need to get him away from the LOS and put him at FS and SS. He’s not making that many plays this year and we need to reduce Jenkins role. Or switch them and let Jenkins play that joker role because he ain’t performing right.

The media makes me so angry!!!! They lie so much to get people up in arms and these poor people just don’t know any better. They believe that face on the screen and anything they say has to be true but the fail to realize they spin every story to generate buzz. It isn’t the truth any more, it’s what can we get everyone’s attention with. Terrible times we live in I tell ya
