I don't think his career is "dead" and I think he'll return to the game. EJ Henderson returned from a broken femur and even made the pro bowl. There's a good chance he'll never be the same due to the nature of the position but I don't think that means his career is over.

It's a tough injury and will require plenty of work. I'm sure he will be motivated to get back out there. Maybe two years til full recovery pending on the location.

Thats dumb, how can you fake a broken bone? But I’m sure he’s milking it for more recovery time than normal.

Worst injury I ever had. The pain can't even be described. That was 30 years ago and my toes curl thinking about it. I eventually recovered but it was a long long time and never made it back to 100%. I feel for the dude.
Nobody can say he quit or didn't play hard. He did. Struggled with penalties this season, but they were aggressive penalties and he was leading the league in INTs. Aggressive ball-hawks get penalties. Especially when they're opposite a guy like Lattimore that don't get many balls thrown his way. Hope his healing goes better than mine and that the doctors keep him comfortable as they can in the mean time.

A player in a position that dependent on hip fluidity and speed. I'm confident his days as a starter at corner is over.

In a contract year, man that’s tough. I feel like the Saints could have traded him or extended him…but this is very likely to severely impact his earning potential. He was our best player on defense last season and he’s the only DB on our team who can catch. He’s handsy in coverage and draws too many flags but his coverage was always tight. Fans get into their feelings about the late game PI stuff which they should…but he’s really better than the masses think. He’s a good guy who got a raw deal this season and now that raw deal just got worse.

That is a bad injury. Chances of him ever being close to what he was before the injury will be miniscule.

And everyone was talking about paying him like the new Lattimor after on good year. He was a good tackler, but holds and gets interference too much. I hope he comes back
