Pels trade with Portland! (1 Viewer)

I will miss NAW and especially Hart. I saw a tweet that implied we could bring Hart back next year with the mid level exception (I don’t know what that means). I’d be all for that.

My favorite Hart moment is his expression when Harden hit himself in the face with the ball. I will love him forever.

I really hate to see them go as well. Unfortunately we had to many guys who could drive or shoot mid range and not enough 3 point shooters. I think we are second to last in the league in made 3 pointers. Makes it hard to space the floor

Last season (2020/21), Snell led the entire NBA in 3-point %... for players who took a minimum of 50 shots. He shot 57%!!!!!

Snell has made his last 50 free throws in a row (going back a couple of seasons... till now).

🤔

Nance already a true Pel. Gets traded here and instantly needs knee surgery
If Nance and Zion make it back for the end of the regular season, things could get very interesting.

Chemistry change can take a bit to get used to

Tonight they are taking Toronto out behind the woodshed tho!

26 point lead with 8 minutes left in the game
Pels were firing on all cylinders tonight. Love this team.

120-90, 36 assists, 58.6% shooting

All about the ball movement. Willie Greene playing Jaxson Hayes at the 4 is a great coaching move. Hayes couldn't use his athleticism at the center position...I just hope we find a way to keep him. Hayes's ceiling is so damned high...next he will have a 3 point shot

Feel bad for Josh Hart and NAW....they don't want to leave. Hart is at the game tonight wearing an Ingram jersey. I think this shows how much Willie Green has already changed the culture...I was really excited when we hired him. Just universally liked and respected by his coworkers and players under him.

Griffin has been treated unfairly IMO. He did as well as anybody could ask with the Anthony Davis trade, the McCollum trade looks great, this past draft looks like it will be amazing (I still think Trey Murphy will at least be solid, Herb Jones is really good especially for a 2nd rounder, and Alvarez is looking like a good bench player already as an undrafted rookie. Plus he did draft Jaxson Hayes which is looking much better now that we have a coach playing him at the 4 instead of the 5

I'll miss Hart, but I'll take CJ over NAW any day. I always rooted for NAW, but never really believed in him like I do in Hayes. He's so much better at the 4 than the 5. This team would be killer if Zion could play... even for 15 mins or so a game to crush some spirits.

I was a little worried about Green early on, but I was willing to overlook anything as a rebuilding year. He restored the heart to this team we missed so much after Monty leaving. I was so tired of seeing lack luster play under Gentry, I couldn't stand it anymore. I'd rather see us play hard in a loss then look sad in a win. Gentry was a good dude, but wasn't a good coach or motivator.

Herb was the steal of the draft IMO. I still have hope Trey can be decent. If we make a little waves in the playoffs this year, maybe it's enough to spark some player excitement that will lead to a great year next year.

Still too many scoring droughts.... They are clearly better with CJ.... But still need Zion back, and someone that can come off the bench to maintain leads, build leads, or provide a spark when the starters are not shooting well.

Need to see more Tre over Temple. I don't understand that.

At this point, Zion needs some image rehabilitation for me. I don't know what's going on there, but I don't see how it can be good for the team.
