Cincinnati - The New Orleans Saints played one of their sloppiest games of the season in Sunday's 34-30 victory, with a season-high 11 penalties for a season-high 100 yards
But the one that seemed to stick in Coach Sean Payton's craw the most was the 12-men-on-the-field penalty against the Saints' punt return unit in the fourth quarter, which allowed the Bengals to keep the ball and keep driving for the tying touchdown.
"It almost cost us the game today," said Payton, who was asked exactly what happened on the play, when linebacker Marvin Mitchell started to run on the field, then couldn't get off in time.
