Was in Firehouse subs a couple weeks ago with my family waiting for go order. There was a lady sitting at the table next to us watching some youtube reality show with it turned up. I just stood there literally 4 feet away from her staring at her and she never even noticed me. These people are completely oblivious to the world around them.

It had that raspy screeching effect too, where the speakers aren't designed to be that loud, mixed with the Zoomers chiming in on their low quality mics.

the only time i can remember hearing a phone/vid at full volume was someone playing a sermon - a raucous sermon
