I'm pretty sure the Saints will be extra careful with MT13. If Thomas remains on the PUP list at the start of the Regular season he must miss 6 games which takes him through the bye week.

It was stated somewhere that the recommended recovery time for his surgery was 4 months. He had the surgery sometime in June. That would have him possibly available in October, likely later in the month. I don’t see him coming off PUP early so the chance of him being available week 1 or 2 I’d say is less than 1%, and that’s being optimistic.

Slim to none.

Lets us start the season 0-3 or worse, you won't see him the rest of the year. People need to understand this extends further than the injury, there is obviously an issue between him and the organization and we all know how the saints deal with tiffs, riffs, or whatever you wanna call it....(see Brandin Cook).

They are gonna activate MT and put him on 3 week IR.
