No question. There’s no doubt in my mind that if he was just a DC, his HC would be firing him over the mini-bye.

There’s no use having a defensive head coach if he’s fielding a completely terrible defense. His entire value has now been lost.

Have to agree, at the very least he would have his playcalling duties revoked. The dome was empty in the second half, hopefully that inspires some change.

The defense had no excuse last night. If we would have lost 13 to 3 that would be understandable with our offensive injuries but to allow a 100 yards of rushing in the first half to a team who was one of the worst running offenses is pitiful.

You have to wonder if DA's attention has been pulled to the offensive side of the ball during the week with all of the injuries and personnel shuffling. It would be understandable. If that's the case, hand off the play calling duties. Heck, let's see if Michael Hodges can give them a spark.

The defense has been bad for like 6 quarters. He’s had good defenses here for like 7 years. No one is getting fired for that.

That’s average per game, so number of games doesn’t matter, and we were 32nd even before yesterday.
