I was thinking something similar...what could top last year's SB, with wins over three, IMO, HOF QBs (Warner, Farve, Manning)? IMO going to the SB as the #5 seed, after having to win at least one playoff game on the road and then playing and beating Brady in the SB...we have a lot of games yet to play, but IMO that would top last year.

IMO, Brady is the best qb right now (3 rings). But Drew would crush Brady in the Super Bowl.

Not so, Atlanta has beside us Carolina and Seattle.

Saints have Baltimore and Tampa.

Based on the competition, they have better chances then us of winning their two games remaining, I am not talking about the common game.

no im talking about how you said they should be ranked higher than us because their schedule is easier. Your other points were valid, that one just seems rather silly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, 3 plays 6 seed-winner plays 1 seed no matter who wins. 4 plays 5 seed winner plays 2 seed. NFL does not re-seed after first round. Thats why we played AZ last year in 2nd round.

And as things stand now#2 and #3 will come from a pool of Chicago, Green Bay, Philly, and NY and #6 will come from that same pool plus the Bucs. So #6 beating #3 is quite conceivable. As a #5, we would face the winner of the west (#4) but then have to play outside in a very cold place regardless of who is #2.

yeah, Thats what the rules say. So why did we get Az instead of the winner of Dallas and philly last year in the playoffs. AZ was the highest seed remaining @ 3?

I just don't want Chicago to make the playoffs. Not because I'm afraid of their team, not at all. It's just that they seem to have the mushiest, sloppiest, most ripped up, slowest field in the NFL, and travelling there really takes away our speed and route-running on O, which puts us at a disadvantage. I could be wrong, though.

the falcons deserve to be ranked ahead of the Saints because they have a better record and they beat us head to head. I think we have the better team but until we prove it on the field, can't justify ranking us ahead of them. But I will say that Im not scared of ATL and like our chances against them should we meet in the playoffs.

i watched the falcons/panthers game and then the saints/rams game. the saints are playing at a completely different level than the falcons. if new orleans shows up healthy on mnf, it will be no contest

Arizona was the #4 seed (10-6), Dallas was #3 (11-5).

They don't truly reseed, as a true reseeding might have the Saints as the 3 after the first round and would adjust the home field advantage.

Seattle and Carolina came very close to playing in the Championship game a few years ago as the 5 and 6. Carolina was less than a quarter away from making it happen.

All you have to do is watch the 3/6 game. That game decides where the winners play in the divisional round. It's a control game as far as division round matchups.

Yeah lets see...You played the Ravens and Bengals at home (and you barely escaped both of them)...we play them in the elements. You played Philidelphia without the QB, and we Got Dallas without theirs (a Dallas team that is a lot better than their record), You got SF at home...who should have beat ya'll)....You got the Steelers without their starting QB, You got the Browns with an unprepared Delhomme for a half....your schedule and luck makes your schedule just as easy or easier than ours...

Dallas and Minnesota are going to spoil a lot of teams the rest of the way...Dallas probably wins last night if Dez isn't hurt...
