I took this one on a Mt Baker area hike in Washington. They had a bunch of cascade waterfall crossings and this one had a rock with a hole in it and water flowing through.

Took it on a Canon 710IS

That's a REALLY cool picture

I pass that church in Chackbay all the time. Something about it always intrigues me.

Are those the right colored flowers Jim or are those ornamentals?

They are truly a delicate flower. I like working with them to contrast work with hellebores - which are strong as hell.
I am growing this particular hybrid this year, I hope they are as colorful.

at first glance it looks like a tree in the Serengeti where a leopard would be resting on a branch.

Very cool pic. Is that a tree in the middle of harvest sugarcane field?

Threadjack...

Does anyone know why they leave a tiny patch of trees in the middle of a field? I've seen a huge empty field with 1 tree in the middle... what's the point of it?

You've got to have some place cool to rest in the middle of the day when you've been working the fields.

Photo from 05 in Panama City. Taken with a basic little casio. Just found it looking through some old albums.

I took this on February 5th in the SE Arkansas Delta. It is a massive wall cloud on a supercell with absolutely perfect structure. The pic does no justice since I didn't have time to adjust the camera because it was moving 60mph. Taken with a Rebel xti.
