Why? Pizza is by nature designed to carry a wide variety of toppings in a wide variety of styles. Gumbo has variants, sure, but a pizza with pineapple on it is still recognizably a pizza.

That’s like saying sex with barn animals is still recognizably sex

Yes, it’s exactly like saying that

There are people who eat Pineapple on pizza. Those people are wrong.

because treaux New Orleanians never pass up an opportunity to feel superior about their food

Wouldn't it be "troux"? Or does it make you even more New Orleans when you mispronounce the French stuff?

You know what belongs on pizza? Meat. Also more meat. It's a cheesy, tomatoey crusted vessel for meat. Mmm.

I've always liked it

I first got it about 20 years ago, I saw it listed, it was the 1st time I had even seen it as an option, I thought it was weird but decided to try it out and enjoyed it

I'll get it with mostly Italian sausage and on occasion ham

Since then Pineapple has become semi- quasi mainstream as a pizza topping but plenty of people hate it like poison

What say you?

Somewhere between gross and ****** gross

I'm a former manager of a Pizza Hut,and have tried every combination under the sun. I won't hold it against anyone, but I've always felt
God did not intend for fruit to be cooked on a Pizza.

My personal fave has always been pepperoni, pork sausage, and mushrooms.

I know Tacoes is a favorite word on this forum. Taco pizza was a menu item for awhile, but you can cook a better one at home. You'll need a 14-16 inch
Pizza pan. it's available at any grocery store. You'll also need a frozen pizza crust which is available there also. The final 2 cooked ingredient you'll need
is one 12 oz can of refried beans and a pound of your favorite cheese.
Brown one Lb of ground beef and drain the oil. spread the beans on the crust until covered. Add the cooked beef and cheese and cooked at 350 for 20 minutes.

After cooking, cut into slices and add tomato, shredded lettuce, onions, and sour cream. Thank me later.

God certainly intended fruit to be cooked on pizza.

Without fruit on pizza you wouldn't have tomato sauce, tomatoes or jalapenos.

I will eat pizza with pretty much any toppings.

My most recent go-to is pineapple, italian sausage, anchovies and jalepenos.

I don't like my pizza overloaded with meat (though I'll still eat it) and I don't think bacon belongs on pizza (though I'll still eat it).

I love anchovies and they have the added benefit of keeping you people away from my pizza.
