I'm afraid you're right. Cam has been my favorite player for years, but I believe he's done and I hate to say that. I wouldn't be surprised to see him call it quits when the season is done.

He's still a good DE. Still a good run defender but his days as a sack machine appear to be over. If he's willing to accept a diminished role he's worth keeping for his leadership alone. Hope we keep Baun.

Totally agree. That's well worth Defensive Player of the Week. Let's not forget that Bresee also had 2 sacks today. DD had a sack and some TFL's. Saunders and Shepherd did a very good job of pretty much shutting down the run. The secondary deserves a shout out too.

But waay back when, I had a “theory” about wat would it take for the D, esp da D line, to b successful this season. It would start with:

Stopping da run, n esp “winning on 1st downs”! Unfortunately they’ve been pretty doin just that most of da year.

So safe to say, yesterday, I was like “Bout damn time! “



In particular, I thought da DTs played one of their best games of da year! They consistently plugged up da middle against the run, n brought pressure/collapsed da pocket in pass pro.


Now jus keep doin it da rest of da season n we MIGHT have somethin!!!
