NFL Players You Love to Hate - T.O. Edition (1 Viewer)

The one thing I remember about T.O. (aside from his whining about his QBs) was the fact that he had something like 180 straight games with a reception. Until he played against us in buffalo...

Blank. Nada. Zilch.

Ah a blast from the past. I haven't seen any mention of this here but, Terrell Owens, selected to the HOF, is skipping the induction ceremony and having one of his own.

Terrell Owens reveals celebration plans for Hall of Fame induction

The NFL in turn is not mentioning his name at the ceremony and mailing him his gold jacket.

For me, there's something comforting in that. No matter how much times change, we can still count count on T.O. being me-first, look-at-me. Some people will never grow up. They serve to amaze us that they can even survive day to day. It's oddly refreshing.

I'm still glad he was never a Saint and I'll bet Cowboys fans are happy he was a Cowboy. I know I am.

Actually T.O. has every right to be mad, P'off, or anything else he wants. Some people want to jump all over him for being himself. Like it or not, T.O. played his butt off ON THE FIELD. His accomplishments ON THE FIELD warrant that he be voted into the hall the FIRST year. Why didn't he get in???? Because some SPORTS WRITERS wanted to excersize their influence on the selection process. I hear absolutely no one calling them out for their obvious bias. Now since they showed their might and finally vote the guy in, they now want him to smile and go about his business. I say screw that. I even heard one commentator say that he should go up on stage and give a great speak to show he was worthy. I say screw that too. Why should he have to go up there and PROVE anything? You want him to do more than anybody should have to just to get the just do he is due. I hate to say this, but it's like the black guy have to work harder just to get his jacket. I am not talking about all blacks, but T.O. is certainly in that group. I don't have a problem what T.O. is doing but I do have a problem with the way the voters get a pass when they screw a player over. AND T.O. WAS SCREW BY THE VOTING PANEL. The dude was a first ballot HOF and should have been treaded like one. The voters are the one that should be ashamed here. If anything, T.O. should get up there and call out the hypocrisy of all of them. That is the only reason he should attend.

I would have to say J. Harrison of the Steelers, never seen a player use his helmet as a weapon as much as this piece of work has done through the yrs.
