Say they win out, and Atlanta, and Tampa both lose the rest of the way.
I can't remember why the Saints are eliminated.
Does not make since to me.

b they would get in over us because there conference record would be better than ours same with bucs

If we had a D that could hold teams under 20 points we'd be 14-1.

And meanwhile, Philly holds Washington to 10 points and still loses.

If you combined the teams and put our offense with their defense, we'd be a hell of a team.

here's one for what would our record be right now if we never got rid of PB kicker john karney:covri:

Injuries were the biggest factor and poor play from our safeties.......

...and like 10 other things.

Cowboys and Eagles play next week. One of them will finish with a better record than us and Atlanta already has clinched with 10 wins, we can only get 9.

This is why the Atlanta win eliminated the Redskins despite their victory over the Eagles yesterday.

It meant that there was only one WC slot left (either Carolina or Atlanta will have the other slot at 10 or 11 wins).

Since they play each other the worst that the better team out of Dallas and the Eagles can finish is 9-6-1 and 9-5-2 (if they tie), meaning no 9-7 team can make it.

b/c they needed 10 wins to get into the playoffs, not 9
