Okay I'll bite. Some 2008 threads will probably be going as follows.

I get into a heated argument with RebSaint about the media and whether or not its slanted. Not picking on you Reb mind you, its just something like this happens on kind of couple of months basis.

I will write a post that makes sense only to me probably and will have spelling errors and not a well thought out thread.

I will talk about Pink Floyd being the greatest Rock Band ever. Because they are.

Maybe.
I will talk about going to Georgia but never being to me. I thought I would throw that one at you by surprise.

I will curse and use profanities so badly that even a sailor would blush if he were to hear it.

I will use too many I's in the present tense like I am doing right now.

I will get involved in another dinosaur debate with Taurus and Coach Largent although that may not happen. We have had too many of them in the time I have been here.

Vietnam will be talked about ad nueseum and ra will admonish me for doing so with a quick witted and rather sharp rebuke or response.

I will leave people hanging on important threads again in 2008.

I will continue to make joke post threads and their is little to nothing any of you can do to stop me

I think the fact that it is so real is what is scary to most people and therefore a defaco turnoff. Noone wants to own up to or try and fix many of the problems that are brought to light by this show.
I know someone who is a teacher in Baltimore and suggested this show and they said that they had no desire to watch what happens in their classroom every day.
For me it is a painful show because I do see it on a weekly basis driving through B-More. New Orleans has a huge drug trade and blight a-plenty but you can literally drive for miles through B-More and see nothing but boarded up houses and "Corners". Then to watch the kids who grow up with this and to know that this is getting perpetuated with no end in sight is just too much to see. Then to watch it on the tube on top is like watching a trainwreck.
Not to say that it isn't necessary....just painful.

the show is based on a criminal mastermind from baltimore (Melvin Williams) he actually plays the role of the Deacon on the show (the guy who helped Cutty start his gym), there was an episode about him on BET's American Gangster, Snoop, the girl that works for Marlo plays herself for the most part.

to keep inline with the topic of the thread i have a feeling there will be fewer SPURS WIN THE NBA threads
