I feel some Saints fans are too hard on Derek Carr. Fact is, that dude gives his all on that field. He literally gave his body up trying to pick up a critical first down. At first I was just hoping that he just landed hard on the football but upon seeing the replay you knew it was something worse. Hope he's ok.

It really has just been that type of year.

With Rizzi, I know the Saints will.keep fighting hard. Probably win another 2 games.

This is going to sound bad, but I was hoping he just landed hard on his nutsack. Because that hurts for a bit and then we bounce back same day.
They said he was being evaluated for a concussion and hand injury. :covri:

I do not understand the Carr hate, but on SR.com the only players who get nailed against the wall are the productive ones, the backup's get all of the love on this team, probably just used to rooting for the underdog so Austin Jr gets more love the Chris Olave etc....

Doubt a concussion but it sure looked like his left wrist bent the wrong way.

I’m not a doctor. But the way he put his left arm out to brace himself is what they teach you not to do if you learn snowboarding or martial arts because you can easily break your wrist or dislocate your shoulder with gravity plus your own body weight.

I agree. I used to post often on here but in recent years almost stopped due to the high level of ignorance. People on here sadly their Saints fans, but hate most of the players and coaches. Fact is, the weak emotional people only like winning, they need it for their own happiness and self-worth.

Agreed. You know the posters who cheered when he got injured, they are on here and quite vocal with their hate towards him.

Some clowns on the gameday thread were saying he was stupid and reckless.... but if he had slid down to avoid the hit, and come up short of the marker, the same clowns would have been crying about him being a "coward" and "afraid".

Do you not watch football wanting your team to win?
