Prayers up for Derek Carr [Mod Edit: Derek Carr is week to week with fractured left hand and concussion] (1 Viewer)

Some clowns on the gameday thread were saying he was stupid and reckless.... but if he had slid down to avoid the hit, and come up short of the marker, the same clowns would have been crying about him being a "coward" and "afraid".
The QB has to protect themselves. No first down is worth what happened to him on that play or a play like when Jameis tore his ACL a couple years ago. I get the competitiveness, but they have to be smarter than that. Live to play another down/game.

I agree. I used to post often on here but in recent years almost stopped due to the high level of ignorance. People on here sadly their Saints fans, but hate most of the players and coaches. Fact is, the weak emotional people only like winning, they need it for their own happiness and self-worth.
Odd post. Yes, most people do like it when their team wins, that’s the primary goal of a professional organisation. Not sure what your point is.

And you’re confusing hate with frustration. Nobody hates any of the players or staff, it isn’t personal, they’re just sick of watching people get paid very well to consistently underperform for their favourite team.

Hate to see it. He has terrible luck with injuries here along with every QB that came here in the last 3-4 years. Something crazy every year. Good time for a vacation.

+1. A lot of people on this board are season ticket holders, or were when they lived in Louisiana. They have become frustrated by pretty clear poor decision making by the FO and coaching staff the last few years - firing a coach halfway through the season speaks for itself.

They shouldn't take it out on Carr as a person. I haven't met and don't know him, but I have no reason to doubt his character. That said, a QB has to protect himself, and I would've been concerned if Kamara or Taysom Hill had tried that jump over a defender move, despite them being a lot tougher customers given the hits we see them bounce back up from most of the time.

Agreed. You know the posters who cheered when he got injured, they are on here and quite vocal with their hate towards him.
I haven't seen that yet butt everyone I do see will be ignored and I hope the mods at least give out an infraction and a suspension.
