I'm going to say Week 1 will be Saints vs. Broncos in the Dome where Sean Payton returns to New Orleans to face his former team

Usually Atlanta, NFL aren't good at being creative with us. Denver would be a good game, but Atlanta is the darling of all the reporters now. So it would be nice to bust that bubble right off the bat.

The league likes to start with division rivals when possible.
Now that A.I. puts the schedules together for the league, it’s reasonable that the algorithm is to put such matches together to get fans excited from the start of Week 1.

But of course a matchup against a former head coach would fill that same bill. It’ll be interesting either way.

I'll say Carolina. I hope they play the New York Giants in the first 4 games so I can just drive an hour and 20 minutes to the game.

Wouldn't it be crazy if by some chance it became a Nix vs Rattler matchup?!?!?
That might say something about which team is best at developing raw college QB talent.
