That was why earlier I made the hoping for something for Christmas and opening the gift and it not what you want lol. He had hoped I picked the Saints.
That sounds a lot like the way the Saints try to win games. They hope their opponent plays worse than they do.
What I have hated most about this season is that with all the injuries it has been impossible to get a feel for what the team could/should be able to do on the field.
It's been a rough year predicting. I have no faith in a win so that part is pretty easy. I predicted the score 20 to 16 so was a little off there. The tie breakers are hard. For the last two months of games I changed my prediction for these games at least 4 times each week as news would come out about who was Doubtful, Questionable, and Out.
On Saturday this week I was within one point of getting the score exactly right. But then I heard about the Raiders charter flight getting into New Orleans early this morning which made me lower my score prediction for the Raiders. At the same time I began to doubt that the Saints could score 10 points. So I lowered my prediction for the Saints score as well.
Who knew the Saints was holding back on a trick play that would actually score a touchdown?
I was off by 9 points total. But before I last changed it I was just one point off of the exact score.
